We run the Our Pitch festival and the website our-pitch.org (the “Site”).
2. Which laws apply
We process personal data in line with:
- the UK General Data Protection Regulation (“UK GDPR”)
- the Data Protection Act 2018
- the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (“PECR”)

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 without parental consent.
4. How we use cookies
We use:
- Necessary cookies – WordPress session, CSRF protection
- Analytics cookies – _ga / _gid (Google Analytics)
- Marketing cookies – only if you opt in (e.g., Facebook Pixel)
On your first visit we display a banner explaining cookies and giving a clear “Accept” / “Reject” choice, as required by PECR and UK GDPR.
5. Email marketing
If you join our mailing list we’ll send occasional festival news, early-bird tickets and community-impact stories. You can unsubscribe any time via the link in every email.
6. Sharing your data
We never sell your data. We may share it with:
- Service providers – e.g., ticketing platform (Ticket Tailor), email service (Mailchimp), payment processors (Stripe, PayPal).
- Professional advisers – accountants, insurers, legal counsel.
- Authorities – HMRC or law-enforcement where required by law.
All suppliers are bound by contracts that protect your data and keep it in the UK or countries judged “adequate”, or we use ICO-approved safeguards such as International Data Transfer Agreements.
